There is nothing wrong with religion at all. The only thing that's "wrong" with it is the nutjobs that use religion to justify their actions.

Response to: What's with all the wikipedia hate? Posted November 8th, 2009 in General

The internet in general gets criticised in its reliability from what I've seen, but if it's so unreliable, why is it so extensive? If someone just grabs one source, takes notes and uses that for something, they're going nowhere anyway and that is their fault, not the internets'. If they study from different sources and compare them, then they are doing it right.

Wikipedia isn't the "one stop shop" for all of your information needs. It also isn't a useless waste of space either. It's just an encyclopedia to help educate people.

Response to: Yeah, my cats going to die Posted November 6th, 2009 in General

It's a pretty awful feeling. Two of my cats have been put down in my life, and I lost time at school because of it. Both of them being a pretty big blow to me at the time... but once it happens the emotional hit kinda lessens its impact to me after a few days. Pretty ironic of me saying this after yesterday, but death is something you've got to try your best to deal with, it's fucking hard to do, but the more you can take te hit the more you seem to deal with the reality of death.

Response to: Fucking guitar trouble ): Posted November 3rd, 2009 in General

I'm not good or anything, but it's something you adapt to. I remember when I gave up when I as like 8, and I asked my dad to teach me (he was a guitarist). Why? Because my fingers hadn't developed callus, I was moaning about all the pain in my hand (which was actually only a little strain), and about the whole fingering business. Don't quit because of that, you'll adapt to it as you practise more, the same way an artist would have higher detailed pictures after more and more practise, or a drummer would have increased speed in drum rolls.

For the scenario, it would be a load of sexually crazed crossdressing zombies which rape at the speed of light. For the fun thing to do, I would wear titanium armour blocking everything and maintaining my view.

Fuck, I might not be the most sexually active, but my mind's images differ...

War is never "right". A million marines or a bomb, that to this day, people are still affected by, and will have more people hurt by it because of it. Both are a horrible choice, but one would keep with their people and go with whatever seems the best for their people. No, it was not "right", it was the best thing they could come up with for their end of things, however.

I wasn't using mobile phones until 7th October this year. The only reason I actually have the one I've got now is for MSN, because I get free access to it, and when I found out about free mobile internet (shitty, but I live on the internet, and it's pretty convenient for when I've got a laptop disconnected from the internet normally), for £50 and an extra £5 every 3 months, it's all worth bothering with in my opinion.
