I forgot to add that this isn't about the "boundaries" that having a girlfriend imposes. I've never been a really flirtatious guy. To be honest, flirting usually just makes me nervous and turns me off. So, whether I'm single or not, my interaction with women doesn't change significantly.

I'm in college, and people do that all the time here. If the music is loud enough that I can hear it, and it's bothering me, I just tap them on the shoulder shoulder and ask them nicely to turn it down. If you act respectful to others, they will usually respect you, too.
