Response to: Stuttering Text / Images in Flash Posted July 4th, 2008 in Game Development

However sometimes people do it by simply redrawing the image once or twice and repeating the two or three images over and over.

Thank you very much for the help. <3

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to somewhere where I could learn to do the stuttering of images / text within flash.

This is a recent example of what I am talking about: Food Collab (During the intro sequence after pressing play.)

Thank you for all of your help, I appreciate it in advance.

Well, would you guys need more writers / voice actors? I am a very experienced writer, and I am starting to get into voice acting, I have been real acting for years. Although I am semi-new at Flash I can do things like websites, etc but my animation skills are seriously lacking.

Thank you kind sir. ^_^

Umm, I feel stupid. Posted September 28th, 2005 in Where is / How to?

I feel stupid for posting this, as it has probably been posting many times before, and I am just adding to the frustration of either a mod or a dedicated person who comes to these forums often. (Spanker ;]) But, when attempting to delete a movie that is haunting your past, how do you go about doing this? I was originally told to change the name to DELXX01/DELXX02, etc changing the xs to two letters of your name, I had this up for about a month, hoping that Wade would do a search, but to no avail. I'm sure this is posted again somewhere else, but I just cannot seem to find it, I apologize, but can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
12dare.

Menu Question Posted June 12th, 2005 in Game Development

=/ Hello folks, I have kind of a stupid question. Umm, I know there is probably a tutorial on this, but seeing as the forums are quite active, I thought someone wouldn't mind answering my stupid question.

How do you do those menus for flashes, but more specifically for websites in the sense that they stay on the same page until something is clicked. =/ If you don't understand the question, just say so and I'll explain a little more in detail.

Thanks in advance,
-GP

Hmm, are you sure that's running at 22 or 24 FPS (Cant remember) cause to me it looks kind of slow paced, maybe that's just cause I dont have an eye for these types of things.

Hey, what do you think about this idea...I've already started.

It starts out in a DBZ kind of mode (sort of thing) with sprites, and then one of them dominates and destroys the other one. Then, it zooms out to the room with two nerds sitting there playing, and then one of them calls the other a cheater and they start the ACTUAL fight, the power bars show up and stuff. The ultima NERD FIGHT-O!

Good idea? Bad idea? What'dya think?

o.o ^_^

Oki dokie! So you want the best of at least 30 seconds, but you want it to be the SIZE of something that's 15 seconds long? ^_^ Silly goose!

Response to: Arcade Fighting Style collab Posted June 1st, 2005 in Game Development

Umm, err...How long does it have to be again? xD I didnt even see that part of the post. ::Ish blind:: :O! OH NOeZ! But I'll throw some sort of example together sooner or later, hopefully today.

The reason I'm asking is because of flash musicals like "Zero Wing Rhapsody".

Well I can sing decently, I have been in at least 6 musicals at a Theatre Company in my town, umm, decent roles, I dont have any singing examples but I will eventually. ^_^

Man, that sounds like a SUPER cool collab! I wish I could steal it, each person makes a script, then the person animates one of those classic comedy clubs with the brick background, maaaan! Soooo coool! Each person gets a voice actor to say their lines for it, and then it's like a GIANT COMEDY STAND-UP COLLAB! If that WASNT your idea...Well then, it's MINE! xD ^_^ <3

Is that the name you and your flash team actually 'submit' under? ^_^

Response to: Just a preview Posted May 30th, 2005 in Game Development

I PERSONALLY really like that game and would play it more than just the first time. Hmm, now about the shooting, I personally dont think that would be all that great, but maybe if you added insted of shooting some kind of 'shield increase' to destroy them or save yourself if your about to hit a boulder/meteor. Umm, I really liked the demo. ^_^

Just joking, but seriously, why would you post something when you know he's OBVIOUSLY not going to choose it. I mean jokes are one thing, but this guy is obviously serious about finding an artist, all you did was waste his time.
Which is exactly what I did. ^^
But in all relation to the topic, I'll try to draw something...Soon.
