Okay, lets say a crack whore gets pregnant and the father is completely unkown. If this child is born, they will grow up in a poor neglectful enviroment around drugs. This happens a lot. I'm not saying any religion is right or wrong, but the reason why religions were originally started is because people wanted answers. Why are we here? Why do people die? Where do they go? Why is the grass green? Why is the sky blue? If you look at Native American religions, you see detailed explanations for all of nature. I myself believe that there is some kind of higher power that started everything because the two objects that collided in "The Big Bang" had to come from somewhere. I dont know if that is the christian God, the jewish God, the Hindu gods, voodoo spirits or what. Humans probably aren't supposed to know.
