Upon reading this, the best answer that comes to mind hands down would have to be the Velvet Revolution.
It was a bunch of peaceful demonstrations by the Czech people against the government. The single-part communist government that was in charge of Czechslovakia at the time finally stepped down, and between the beginning and end, not a single shot was fired (at least, so far that I can recall).
It was like Occupy Wall Street except it didn't get diluted and fall apart. It was beautiful.
