It is annoying though that due to the Islamic revival, Malaysian annual celebrations such as Temasya Mandi Safar which was an annual bathing festival was abandoned for contravening the teaching of Islam yet this fucking shit is considered a better practice?

They have Eid_al-Adha, which if you search on google images, gives a mixture of cartoon goats looking all nice and happy and other pictures of muslim people slitting the throats of fucking camels and goats. At least the meat goes to the poor (apparently) but can't they at least try to make it more humane?

Although, throat slitting is just common humane practice for animal slaughter in the days before stun-bolt guns so its not exactly beyond all reason.
