I think you're asking if we're ten (colloquial) years off from creating sexual partners for existing adults. We are a long way off from being able to liberate reproduction from the womb, much less liberating physical growth from time, or liberating developmental from experience. Sure, it's possible if 5 billion people all decide to start studying biotech and shooting for graduate degreees and research positions. Otherwise, I think intuitively that optimistic predictions would put that technology a few centuries away. Unless there's some magical way to speed up scientifîc research.
