my professors at community college told me not to take out huge loans. they told me their horror stories. my math prof said he had 200k in loans from his poltical science major and had to return for a math pdh. My sociology teacher kept complaining about how the economy in america sucked abed how china and japan were better. My world religions prof told me very similar things and that america and the west would fall behind soon. Many of my professors as a whole said that college was truing into a for profit industry. My math professor told me that the education system is very broken and that math science teachers make considerably more that arts and that schools look for any excuse to kick students out because its profitable as they will still have to pay the loans. He was an actuary on the side to repay his loans. He also told me that student loan officers will give anybody that qualifies a loan they don't care if you succeed in life or not. HIS WORD NOT MINE
