MAC Oct Christmas Review

Ok Heres the MAC Oct Christmas Review for your song, DJ Santa's Dance Club.

Overall, it was a very plain piece. There was basically a main synth, a drum kick, and bells [+chimes at the end]. The song would have sounded better with some counter melodies from strings or even a running walk with bass.

Another thing that annoyed me was the fact that the main melody was on the upbeats of the song. i think the song would have sounded much better if they were on the downbeats with the kick and instead, put the bells on the upbeats.

The Chimes at the end were a very good touch, however, its not enough to keep the listener interested. I give this a 7/10 and a Vote of 3.

5.8/10 Diversity - sounds like very bland techno
6.7/10 Effort. With one melody, how can i give you more?
7.8/10 Appeal - the tune is catchy, but again, needs to be beefed up with some other instruments
