Like hearing a lullaby while you are swimming under water in a river - or travelling through a jungle during the monsoon season. Very relaxing, and truly a unique sound.

I'm honestly surprised that this doesn't have a higher score. I guess in terms of audio submissions, it ranks pretty high, but it still deserves more attention. I have to praise you for all the huge peace a person can acheive from listening to a song like this. It sounded pretty organized, making it all the more enjoyable.

"Example of underrated pieces"

Alright, 6,000 listens and an 853 popularity ranking isn't so underrated, it's simply the style of song that is underrated.

I'd like to think people are driven to harmonic pieces just as they are melodic.
In the previous review, you respond that you don't focus on melodies, yet I can hear the repetitions of several little melodies dancing around each other, while occasionally that echoing VOX mends one synth into bass to match the tone of a snare at the end, and then repeat itself, creating a harmonic world of some lonely soul.

The slow-mo breakdown at 2:33 is also perfection, you begin at around that same vox so it prolongs that emotional appeal that could make anyone want to sit and shiver.

Setting an example for the rest of us.

"Aimless?"

This track is certainly well produced. The mixing is fairly solid (maybe favors your percussion a little heavily for my taste) and your instrumentation all sounds fine.

However... it doesn't seem to go anywhere. It starts out slow, doesn't really build to anything and then slows down more at the end.

Granted this isn't my preferred genre, but it seems like (to me) that this song could better present itself with some sort of overarching melodic theme, rather than vague, meandering instrumentals.

I'd like to hear more from you though.

Considering this is one of the best songs I've heard on Newgrounds. Sucks that the majority of the people that listen to the NG AP are pretty biased towards hardstyle music.

Oh well, this is 100% absolutely stunning. Great job!

reminds me a bit of kingbastard's soundscaping; a little more melodic. I guess it's the familiar quality of the instruments. I love the keys in there, really warm and calming. Drums were really nice and minimal ; ) I've been going for a similar sound for awhile, maybe you could help me out :o
