Woah, I'm so used to hearing generic techno on newgrounds that its almost refreshing to hear generic sounding rock.
Well, this is a very, very short track, but I'll assume you were asked to make it that way?
Because it really is pretty good-very well written even if you don't take any chances with the track and keep everything clean and expected sounding, in that the percussion went perfectly with the guitar, and the guitar was perfectly accompanied by the piano, and the bass did its thing...ect.
So I guess I wouldn't really change anything, but if you were to expand this into a full length thing, it'd be cool to see if you could mix it up a bit and keep it new and exciting sounding.
Also, I must ask: what of this is recorded, and what is made with software? Because the sounds are pretty good.
Finally, if you do get a soundcard or whatever, I'd appreciate it if you stopped by my page and reviewed my newest whatever. Thanks in advance, and keep it up.
Author's Response:
Yeah, I made this as the Theme song to NinjaGorilla's Steven and Kyle series, so he only needed it to be 30 seconds long.
All the sounds were made on my piano (Keyboard), only programs I used were Sound Recorder and Audacity.
I will look into making an extended version. Thanks for the review.
