"Awesome"

date: July 13, 2008

I like it, its a really cool piece of rock music, the guitar lines are sweet and have got a good melody to them, the drums are great and not too overwhelming, the bass is funky too. Its great overall, the only thing i can think of that could make it better and some good vocals over the top of it, it would make a fab song. :P

The constant changing of style throughout and changing of spped and rythm is awesome, works really well. :D Overall its awesome, nice work!!

"Calm for Most Part"

date: July 12, 2008

It's pretty calm through most part of this which is interupted at the middle part of this whole tune by quite a mix of instuments, it would be nice to maybe hear the calmness keep through the whole thing, but it's mostly a nice tune which is good to hear. Through I do think it would sound much better with some vocals too it, just sounds like that kind of beat.

Everything else here sounds pretty good to me, a good intro to the whole thing as well as a decent ending. Lack of vocals let this down as well as the sudden change in tune towards the end, but other than those things, I have to say good work on this overall.

It's an interesting track, but for me the experiment doesn't work out quite right.

It sounds as if you just put in all kind of intros of other songs into this track, and sometimes you let two different songs play at the same time, which sounds pretty messy.

Some of the parts are very worth listening to (like the part that starts at 1:24, but the drums seem to be off beat there), but you shouldn't throw them together with so many different parts, instead you should expand them and work them out to a whole single song. Would be much better, imo.

So it looks like we've got a few tunes here that you've thrown together and submitted as one giant package. Nice.

I'd certainly consider refining them, as tunes 1 and 2 have the beats confused, so you can't really get too far into the tune without them messing each other about.

The third tune that you made sounds like it could be a bit of Ska if you added some brass horns to it - Trumpet and Sax in particular.

The fourth sounds like a racing loop that I've heard on the NASCAR games circuit before. Nice work, but I'd expand it a bit

Tune 5 sounds a little like Green Day crossed with REM. Needs to be longer for proper comment.

As for 6, it's a nice intro, but that's about it. I need more.

"Nice! :D"

date: July 10, 2008

Nice job man. I loved the guitar, it was very smooth and fun to listen to. Lots of good, professional-sounding riffs. From the nice intro to the great way you ended the song it didn't get repetitive at all. The drums were great in this, too. They complimented the guitar very well.
My criticism is on the transitions. There is a couple spots in this tune where it almost sounded like it stopped and went to another song entirely. All the parts to this song were great, just the transitions sounded a bit choppy to me. :/
Overall, this has massive potential, it already sounds great! It is worlds better than your other song you requested for review. Great work!

"ALL right..."

date: July 10, 2008

The intro was very nice. well done. Then after that, the song got going well nicely. The melodies flowed very nicely, too. I liked the different parts of the song, Great work man!

suggestions: Transitions = nil. The song hopped around quite a bit, and it sometimes threw me off. Try and put some real transitions in there next time.

I really liked it, your obviously a group of talented guys. I really liked the drums, they seemed to be relentless but have purpose. And I even liked how everything just changed and switch randomly half way through a part. Great job, hope to hear more from you

"I actually really liked it."

I thought you guys did a good job. It would get a higher ranking from me, but the following things are stopping it. Some of it does sound very out of place like it's not all on the same page. One time it's light music and other times its jamming. I understand you recorded it at different times, but I really don't like how some of it's really quite to the point that I have to turn my volume up all the way just to hear it and then all of a sudden its load as hell and I have to turn my volume back down.

"Not bad but lacking"

date: July 7, 2008

A not to bad rock tune its fairly dull though at first.

At the start the tune seems fairly laid back, low gulitar sounds to begin with then it get more quicker in beat. A good sounding tune the gulitar sounds, impressive together when it gets going. The tune is nice a rock soft on the ears. About 1.30 seconds in the beat goes ,quite jamming and more imteresting. I thought towards the end, of the track the beat picked up and was slightly better as a result. Although it did sound a bit messy at times.

The probelm was the whole tune was not that interesting it takes ages for anything to actually happen the, gulitar is to dull sounding. I thiok because the lack of other sounds ,does not help. When it does get going it sounds, out of tune and not in beat.

Overeall a okay but average rock track.

"Not too bad, few problems"

date: July 6, 2008

This wasn't too bad. It was a major improvement from the last submission that I reviewed by far. My main issue with this song was that it was faded out in some parts, but then really loud in others. I really liked the changeup in music and how you constantly changed the genre. The transitions between the styles were a little sloppy at times, but honestly I enjoyed the guitar playing a lot. Good work with this submission, you've clearly improved and that's what is most important. Keep at it man!
