"Not bad"

date: July 13, 2008

Its cool, seemed really loud though when it started, there is still a static hiss like in your other track, you might want to get that looked into. The track is good, but the main beat is jam packed, the drums overwhelm the melodic instruments so you cant really hear them, the drums are far too loud. You need to combine the instruments better to make this flow smoother.

"Overwhelming"

date: July 12, 2008

This has quite a lot of beats in the main part which I find to be a little too much, it makes the whole thing too busy and well loud, as well as the hiss in this which you have had in other tracks, combining all this at once just really sounds annoying and loud. The hiss I have never been keen on, so yeah, I wouldn't mind to hear that gone from future tracks, lol.

You do have some nice parts to this, I thought the intro was good and some of the other parts to this, but when you build into something with so many beats, it just ends up sounding to me like a huge mess. It's be nice to keep them limited to a degree and not having it sound so busy.

The intro sounds pretty strange and I think you should shorten it a bit or change the effect of the guitar.

Later on, with the drums added the effect of the guitar is very fitting, but it just doesn't work for me in that long intro.

I like how you put in so many different parts and still managed to fit them all together in one song.

"Good Loop"

I wouldn't say it's a new genre. It's more of a crossover between already established genres. Adding things together doesn't make new genres necessarily.

I think that this sounds great though and although the sounds that you've put in are quite wide ranging, we've got a nice tune coming out as the finished product - something most people couldn't produce if they threw in the components you did, that's for sure.

I'm not sure about the differing volumes of the parts though. It's quite prominent with the drums in and then it goes to this quiet 'shimmery' part, which kind of stops the D&B in its tracks, which doesn't do anything for me. I'd take them apart and submit two separate tunes - they are both good.

"Interesting genre."

date: July 10, 2008

The intro was pretty koo. Caught my attention pretty kool. The guitar sound was really mysterious. then at 1:05 or so the drums came andreally took the song away. very nice there. I agree that it does sound muddled, but in a good way.

Suggestions: The snare was a bit overpowering. it kinda blurted out everything else. Might wanted to turn it down a bit.

"Nice"

date: July 10, 2008

The first quarter or so of this almost reminded me of music that would be on a SNES DK soundtrack. :P The drums had a really good beat in this, the heavy hits on the snare really gave it a more powerful feel, yet it didn't disrupt the overall feel of the song.
The best quality of this song, I think, was the fact that it didn't get stale. There were a lot of different sounds in this song which kept my interest all the way though. The main lick in this song was very good and kept coming back throughout the track. That along with the drums (the snare in particular) really tied this whole thing together quite nicely.
Overall a fun track. Good job.

"Drums are cool"

date: July 10, 2008

Certainly a unusual sound to me its quite accostic with no other sound ,apart from the instruments playing.

I like the way it begins actually its nice, and a pretty sound the base is. The best i think its got a wicked vibe to it and makes the track more musical as a result. Around 3 minutes in the bass really kicks in, and sound stunning. The faster drums beats are better mixed together, the result is a great mix of style.

The problem is the drums are reptive over the track, and spoil the nice base sounds although not majorly.

Ovreall a better track on several listens.

"Hmmm"

A very strange song, and very hard to classify, Where to start, I liked the overall sound of the song, but there were many different parts to it, and most of which didn't work together. My main concern was with the feed back and the timing of things. You definitely need to work on that, but the end of the song did seem to pull itself together. Good enough job

"Hmm."

Very awkward at times like it just seemed like too much in some parts. But to be honest it is the first time that I have seen an audio submission seem out of place so many times and have it work towards it's advantage. Pretty good length of the audio and it never seems to get too repetitive. Good job.

"A mess of goodness"

date: July 6, 2008

I don't know why, but for some reason everything seemed somewhat sloppy when it came to the more upbeat parts of the song, but it sounded good. I liked the little static parts of the song you threw in there as well. You must have used every sound you had in your inventory to make this song, but it turned out very VERY impressive in the end. It was a little repetitive...but not TOO bad. The loop was a little off, but overall nice work!
