"Hmm"

Well, this song needs a lot to fix, especially the FX. Please get better FX sounds and some better beats because it doesn't sound very good with the FX sounds you used in the song. Add more instruments like a guitar, piano or another instrument so the song could sound much better. 6/10 3/5

"Not bad"

date: July 13, 2008

Its ok i guess, could be alot better though, the intro seems to be a bit clustered and not really sure where its going. Once it sort of hits into the main thumping beat its ok, but it gets kind of repetative, the little voice clips in it were cool though.

"Messy"

date: July 12, 2008

For the start and through many other parts of this it does sound to be a little fuzzy and kind of messy in that sense, it's a little too distorted for my liking. I mean it's good many good parts to it but I just don't really like the opening part being so distorted as well as other parts to this. It does open well and many of the beats through the tune are good.

The voice samples in this work with the whole tune and give something diffrent to listen to, but I am a little disappointed by there lack of linking to each other, you have a police voice is it then a lauch voice, I don't hear the link to that. Maybe use sample that work with each other and everything, makes sense that way, lol. But otherwise, good work with everything here, comes together pretty well and a good ending.

I like the voices, they make the song very original. Without them the song would be too repititive, but now I have something other to listen to while the main beat is going on. ^^

I also liked the intro, it had a spacey/trancy feel to it.

The cymbal sounds pretty dull, especially at 1:33. That doesn't really fit in there, because of the bad sound and it also seems as if the cymbal is a bit off beat there. It would be great if you could find a better sound for that.

"Good song made in FL"

date: July 10, 2008

The intro was expertly done. grabbed my attention right away. A nice and solid beat throughout the whole song. The voices were a nice touch. The musci flowed very well too. Great job

Suggestions: you need to have some type of beat variation. With a simple hit on every beat the bass drum feels like its boring into my head. syncopate the beat or something like that and you'll be fine.

"Cool"

Very nice trance song. The intro had a very space type feel. And then when the main song kicks in I can get a real club feel to it. I especially liked the voices. The seemed to tell a story to the song. It was quite strange and surreal. But it really did work. I also like how the beat stayed the same for nearly every part. Just sounded right. Great job

"Not bad."

I really think that the title of this song was well chosen as you do get the sense of endlessness. Wow, I didn't know if that was a word, but Firefox says it's spelled right so whatever. Yes it does seem repetitive, but I really didn't mind in this audio submission for some reason. Pretty decent length and during the entire song you kept a great beat. I also enjoyed the random voices in there, maybe it could of used just a couple more of them.

I actually added those voices in last minute when I noticed that the part was to repetitive without them.

P.S. Firefox Dictionary sucks. It says words are misspelled when they really aren't.

"Needs more variation"

by: Coop83
date: July 8, 2008

I think that you've got a decent track here, but I would advise that you get yourself more variation, especially in the beat - It's very 1, 2, 1, 2 throughout, which doesn't exactly fit in well with the other aspects of the track in places.

I think that you could certainly use other instruments to add more flair to the track as well. Given that this piece is a Trance track, it needs to increase the tempo, as trance tends to keep people moving relentlessly and doesn't really slow down so that they can find their way to the bar for a drink.

"Not Bad"

date: July 7, 2008

I enjoyed it. This song seemed to rely largely on the percussion opposed to the sound effects. I found that to be a very unique aspect to this song, as most trance tracks you hear seem to depend heavily on that electronic sound.
This really had that "involuntary headbang" effect, but I feel like it was slightly disrupted by some of the cymbal crashes throughout the song. As a suggestion, I would try using them more sparingly. They'd sound good in ceratin spots, like maybe at the beginning of a measure. That way you can really keep that driving beat going without disrupting it too much. Just a thought. :)
Overall you did a pretty good job with this, I really enjoyed listening.
Good work!

Author's Response:

I know what you mean about the relying on melodies. For example, "Right Here Right Now" by Fatboy Slim.

I would do more melody like "DotA" by Basshunter, but I still need more practice with making melodies because I suck at it.

"Good title"

date: July 6, 2008

This a decent enough track with loads of sounds to keep it intresting.

To begin with i like the base the beginning, its got a cool modern sound trance. With good beats to it. The voices strange as they sounded, are a nice addiction to this track. I enjoyed the drums that are quite powerful sounding. The whole track had a feel of being endless, and quite depressing but i mean i a good way.

The probelm was the drums always beating, got very repetive after a while. The trouble with the beat is that it get boring, as the sound does grate after a while. The idea is nice but maybe, less drums would have helped.

Overeall a good track marred by repeption.
