But it made me feel kind of cold in a good way.

"Icy."

date: July 7, 2008

Nice track we have here. It sounds very much like video game music. It has nice melodies within it, and the bells make everything feel nice and icy. To me the song conjures up images of a winter wonderland :).

Suggestions: The song was a bit repetitve at parts. You might was to throw in something new at said parts. But great job anyway!

"Great"

date: July 6, 2008

This is nice, its a light little song with high chimey notes. Gives a very icey feeling. Very good rendition of the ice cave level from Donkey Kong Country. Brings back old memories of the game.

Its also very similar to final fantasy type music at parts. Its got that sort of unrealistic fantasy touch to it. But its still a great audio track. ncie work.

"Pretty Nice"

date: July 5, 2008

It sounds very good all the way through and has quite a clam and relaxed tune to it, which does sound very good and does work. Although, the one thing that really bothers me about this track is the ending, you have a good opening to the track but the ending just sounds to be a little rushed or something, I mean it doesn't fade fully out.

Everything else though is good, maybe it could have been a little longer though, the middle part also sounds pretty nice to me. The overall sound to this tune is very good and it has nice flow, no real improves could be made other than for the ending, so nice work.

"Very nice"

by: Shanus
date: July 4, 2008

I really liked it, as Coop said, it does have a very final fantasy feel, probably closest to FFX. Very atmospheric at first but whenever the bass and chimes come in, the song really comes into its own. The chanting was very nice too, along with the piano driving each part of the song along. Great song and great job

"I like this"

Love the way that you've got the 'icicle sounding' twinkles, which work really well for the imagery of an icy cave. I get the feeling that there's something flying taking me through this cave, on a sort of fly on the wall style entrance. This tune could easily be used in some sort of Final Fantasy style game to represent a safe haven, as it's got that homely quality about it

I'd have made it just a little longer and added a little more variation to it, just so that it maybe conjures up other images for the listener as well.

Damn, I never played Donkey Kong on any game system, so I can't say much about the original. But the remix sounds very nice and almost creepy from time to time, when that happy glockenspiel takes a break and we are left with that sinister background noise... *shudders*

"Classic!"

date: July 1, 2008

Ah, listening to this brought back a lot of good memories of playing Donkey Kong on the SNES. :P
This whole thing sounded really good. I thought it was a great remix, yet it really still kept the great feel of the original track.
The one criticism I have for this is the lack of an ending. It ends so abruptly it seems like it was just cut off half way through the song.
It did seem a little repetitive, but a lot of video game music is that way. I think it's more the nature of the song than a problem.
You did a great job with this, overall. It was really nice listening to a bit of the old SNES DK music, I haven't heard it in years! Thanks for that, and thanks for this great tune! :)

"Like said before.."

It really seem to start off slow or just kind of bland, but then shortly after it picked up quite nicely. A little bit of variety could of been added to the audio, and the length could of been just a bit longer. Of course, when an audio submission is longer is really when you have to worry about variety since you have more situation in which you could repeat. Overall, decent.

"Could be better"

date: June 28, 2008

The rhythm was good, but this track needs A LOT more variety...it is almost the same tune in all the (short) duration of this track...you could add a lot of stuff to make this song more intresting...sorry for the tone of the review, l am just trying to say that you can do better than this (but it is a good track, mind you...)
