"...And you think your songs suck..."

date: May 29, 2008

I think this is a really good song. It would have made me get out of my seat, but I didn't feel like it. If I felt like it, I would have gotten out of my seat. I can see this song getting you somewhere, you should keep up the good work.

I like the high pitched short synth insrument riffs and how you infused your bootypotty remix into the song. This will be added to my favorites.

Thanks BudGP.
Enjoy it while you can; I'll be moving into classical soon.

"Very Nice"

date: July 11, 2008

This was a solid tune. The rhythm and drums were tight and very consistent throughout the song; repetitive, yet not boring.
The different electronic effects you used were very unique and really kept the song interesting. Being able to use a lot of different sounds in a song without having it sound too random or out of place is a good quality to have.
The transitions were also very good, everything sounded very professional and flowed very well.
Can't find anything to improve on with this track, it stands up pretty good on its own.
Overall a good listen, great work!

It's a nice dance track with a good rhythm to it. I like how you add more and more parts as the song plays. That way you keep the listener interested and you also keep the song from getting too repititive as there is something new to listen to every few beats.

You also managed to mix the song pretty well. Even with so many different melodies and parts playing at the same time everything can be clearly heard and no part is overpowered.

I like that tune that starts at 0:41. It sounds pretty funny. Too bad you changed that part slightly around 0:55. Also, it always sounds a bit off beat throughout the song... at least to me.

"Excellent"

date: July 13, 2008

This is cool, i like the intro, its got a really funky beat to it, and i like the way you layered the different beats ontop of each other as the song progressed, the sounds flow with each other really nicely, the little drum roll added every time a new part entered was a very nice touch.

"Dance track?!"

date: July 10, 2008

The tune at the start is very much the same, i have seen before but that okay.

This is a good track despite the slight repetive nature of the tune. Its got some great sounds in the background ,very in synch. Its got a good beat, when it livens up. Around 2 minutes the tune changes to more electro vibe which i love it makes up for the lack of tune earlier on. Despite it length i really getting down to this tune ,its a great dance track.

The only snag is the slight reptive beat at the beginning, but its not much of a problem as the tune so cool.

Overeall a dance track with attitude.

"Good!"

date: July 6, 2008

The intro was fairly well done, but a little long for my taste. Once you started including other sounds and built upon it, that's when it started to sound a lot better. I felt like some sounds didn't belong, but you also had some really cool sound effects going on at the same time. It reminded me a little bit of an old Sonic game for some reason, don't ask me why. This was a really good sounding beat after the intro all the way through to the ending loop. Great work!

"Haha, ballin'! But, too long."

Dude, this is sweet! Really, this is upbeat, cool, and would be perfect for an animation or even a little scene of a movie. Hell, I may even use it.

But, here are your problems that stop you from being near perfect or perfect and just a heads up, I have yet to give out a perfect:

Very, very video game-y. While this is good at times, I feel this belongs in a Sonic game level and is not an all around useful hit. But, hey if that's what you were aiming for, awesome. And don't move it to the classical section. It's not classical. Yet is is still good.

Now being video game-y is rarely a turn-off for me, except that this is very repetitious for every different part. You may want to make it shorter and cut the crazy repeating, even though each section of the song is legendary. The repeats are just too many and if it clocked in somewhere in the three minutes, I would be giving you a nine.

Other than that, excellent work. Catch ya later!

Thanks.

What I meant by saying "into the classical section" is that I'm going to switch to making classical works.

Nice, beefy, long review! These are the ones I need.

"Nice beat to it."

date: July 10, 2008

The intro was actually pretty good. It created a good atmosphere for the rest of the song. You also a nice solid bass drum going on too. Transitions were smooth, too. After the first minute or so the song kicks it up a notch. Great job man!

Suggestions: Intro was very long. Everything after the intro was AWESOME. the intro was kinda repetitive, too. You should either make your intros shorter or more interesting.

Very cool catchy song, that hooks you in with repetition and diversity at the same time. The bass line was really cool along with the beat. And that synth just gets your feet moving. A great song and a great job

"Pretty good."

I love how each section seemed to build off of the last section with new sounds and beats. I really enjoyed the sections from around 1 minute 25 seconds on. The ending was down alright, but it was almost seems to end abruptly.
