This song is certainly worthy of being at the top of the Classical section! You've already heard from me before, but this song is just so grand, it never hurts to comment on it again. :)
The beginning of the song feels like the horns of battle are blown, and the snare is an excellent add to feeling. The choir emanates a unique seriousness that you can only find out on the battlefield.
Hearing the drums of war enter at 0:40 signals the beginning of the end. My favorite part of the song is definitely 0:48, where the rough strings enter into the scene. It feels as if the soldiers have appeared on the battlegrounds, and the real fight commences.
The song escalates at 1:07 once the instruments take a higher octave, setting the stage for later changes in the piece. I love this section (from 0:48 - 1:26), because you don't have to focus on the changes of the music, and it gives you time to just listen to the majestic voices of the winds and choir.
Then there's a key signature change at 1:27, and it alters the mood. Although you can still see the same battlefield of soldiers, something new - but unnameable - comes from the slight, sometimes unnoticeable change. A greater feeling of determination, perhaps you could say.
I would have to agree with DevilDog in one aspect though, and that would have to be the abrupt ending. I guess I could see this as a cinematic trailer music, but it would have been nice to having something more resounding than just a quick finish. Other than that, fantastic work. I loved it.
@SamNichol: People can write what they want. I personally encourage stories. It's like a personal interpretation.

I have to agree with that last part too. I always kind of have a vision in my head as I listen to music. But, whatever. Thanks for the continued listening!
