"like a lullaby"

by: IronV
date: April 3, 2008

Dunno if i spelled lullaby well, but if u get my point, my young cousin fell asleep by easdropping on this song, lol. Realy its very good song and i really enjoyed it. I think i actually heard the timeline in the song itself. If im correct in what i heard, you did a great job in discerning them. A poem should be sang on this song, im serious. I kinda got inspired and i might write one that works with that song if you dont mind.

Author's Response:

This song is definitaly awesome to sleep to. Believe me i know, hahaha. It caused me to take 3 naps in one day, lmao.

I would be honored if you wrote a poem for my song : ). so go for it!
Thanks!

"Beautiful, sad, and just heart warming :D"

date: April 3, 2008

I loved this, for three days, you must have put forth a lot of effort. Or maybe you are just professional ;P

April 4, 2008

Author's Response:

Yes I tried very hard, lol. I usually tend to get frustrated with my music and end up not finishing my songs, but this song was able to keep me hooked, no matter how irritated i got at times.

lol, i'm hardly professional, but thanks for the compliment. You would be surprised at how amateur i really am, lmao. I sang for a good portion of my life, but I never tried to learn any instruments until late last year. I asked my mother for a keyboard for my bday, which she was ecstatic about seein as how she is a pianist and can play organs as well, and then i tinkered with it for a few months, but never really did anything serious with it. And then that loser Josh (kelwynshade) came over to get his ass kicked in street fighter 3 for the first time....the first time of many... But anyways, lol, Josh saw my keyboard leaned up against the wall. And a few weeks later we formed KTRECORDS. And that was around... early september 2007 i believe...
Ever since then, i have just been kind of learning bits and pieces of music creation from Josh. Which is obvious since my style, especially in this song, bears a strong resemblance to his.

lol, I babbled... my bad. Glad you liked the song and thanks for the compliments!

Oh yeah... i did dabble in music creation yeas ago... but that was with mtv music generator... which i still enjoy screwing around with from time to time today... NO LAUGHING!

"Well now"

date: April 3, 2008

I figured that I would want to keep my music reviews at 69. But not reviewing this would be a stupid ass thing for me to do. Really beautiful song. The title and mood of the song reminds me of things that we have all done that we regret and question why we did those things in the first place. When I think about it everyone has had their fair share of mistakes. Very moving piece KTR. Congrats on best of the week.

Author's Response:

lmao, I'm honored that you were willing to break the 69 barrier for my song. I'm glad you liked the title. It was sweet because it almost felt like the song named itself. It literally took me seconds to figure out the perfect title and that was when the song was only about halfway done. That's when I really knew things were coming together.
Glad you liked it!

date: April 3, 2008

It kinda reminds me of like a last ditch effort to save humanity gone wrong, and the the sole survivor just sitting there thinking, CRAP. Not that anyone writes stories like that anymore. Anyway, Quite a brilliant piece of work,up there with the best.

Author's Response:

I personally like stories like that myself. I think stories where everyone is happy in the end just gets kind of old after awhile. That is one of the reasons I enjoy animes like Death Note. Where you just never know who is going to die. If everyone lived in that series, it would have been boring. Or like in Cowboy Bebop. Spike dies in the end. I htink that made for an awesome ending. Of course if it were real life, that'd be a completely different story, lol.
Anywho... glad you liked the song!

"This is the saddest and best song i've ever heard"

date: April 3, 2008

I love this song if you guys like final fantasy, but if youve seen the trailer for Final fantasy 13, it shows the the antagonist, the king of a major city and empire is defending tht of his citys power crystals. He starts to walk down the steps against a whole army and surrendurs himself to keep his city safe and help it prosper then they take him prisoner. You should take the trailer and have this acompany it would be totally awsome.100 stars out 10

April 3, 2008

Author's Response:

We very much love Final Fantasy. Josh and I are both huuuuuuge rpg fans. Our most recent venture was lost odyssey for the 360. We both loved it so much that Josh made a song as a tribute to it. You should check it out. It's called Kaim Reborn. You can find it under his account (kelwynshade) or at his site www.kelwyns hade. com. Thanks

"so sad........."

date: April 3, 2008

when i hear this song, i imagine a man crying his eyes out over killing his brother....
great song!

April 3, 2008

Author's Response:

Niiiiiice! Maybe they both had different views on a war or something, and then had to face each other in battle. When they were aimed at each other, one of them maybe realized he was wrong and didn't pull the trigger and the other brother was forced to shoot him. Deep stuff man, good thinking!

"as i listen..."

date: April 2, 2008

a medieval city, in the end of the dark ages, is falling from political turmoil and isolation from global economics. people fight for bread in the streets, thiefs terrorize the populace and all sorts of chaos abound. but then one figure who isn't licking pig troughs for food or trying to stay warm, this figure is cloaked but the solution to the problem is inside his cloak concealed. the figure goes towards the lords castle/palace and stops before the drawbridge over the moat or w/e and then it ends... im not good with imgery :P great song though.

April 2, 2008

Author's Response:

I think I can imagine that in a way. That would be a cool theme to go along with the song. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

i love this song . it is a story of love hate sadness happy'ness and alot of things
keep up the good work
make a techno version of this because it will do very good 5/5

April 2, 2008

Author's Response:

Lol, techno might be out of my league right now. I would love to be able to do some form of dance/techno someday though. Daft Punk is easily one of my favorite bands and I would love to be able to do something like their style of music someday. Maybe after I get the hang of making music a little more, I'll give some techno a shot. Glad you liked the song!
