Author's Response:
I tried to throw a few of the feelings tied to the emotion regret into the song. Helplessness is in there along with anxiety (2:10), reflection (beginning), failure, confusion (1:42) and epic sadness (3:13) lol. It also played a big part in the instruments I picked. I always felt violins were an excellent way to convey a variety of emotions, along with choirs. The quiet clarinet that kind of poked it's head out just enough to be noticed in the beginning and the end I felt was a great way to represent deep sadness. I honestly don't know wtf kind of instrument it was that I had going through the whole song that supported the violin and sometimes took the lead, lmao. If anyone does know, please tell me so I don' sound like such an idiot when people ask, hahaha. But I just kind of picked it cuz it fit, hahaha.
In a nutshell, I just picked some instruments that I thought would be fitting for the piano I had, and then they took care of the rest.
I'm glad I was able to make a song that could peak your interest and hopefully I will be able to keep them coming. Thanks for listening!
