"Very Long"
date: March 8, 2008
Well the first thing I must say is that this is a very long track, one of the longest I have probably seen here, so it's intresting to hear everything that goes on in this track. It seems to be pretty diffrent through most part of it which is good, you have a constant sound for a long point which seems to pass through left and right speakers, of course I have headphones on, so it might be a little more noticable to me, but it sounds nice, tickles my ears, lmao.
At parts it disapears to change to something else, the way that changes is done pretty well, then there is the part where it goes on and off while spaning, which is very good. I can hear something like an audiance cheering in the background at parts too, not sure if that's what it is but that certainly fits into the whole track too.
Although I can't really say it reminds me much about summer, you could explain that to me if you want, lol. Though it is very upbeat, something summer isn't to me, I hate summer, too hot, but that aside. The whole tune is very upbeat and very easy to listen too as well as being mostly diffrent though many aspecs through the tune seem to repeat in a way but the way it changes kind of makes you forget that you've heard it earlier.
The ending to this is also very good, I wasn't expecting a loop here, so that's good, lmao. Overall it's very long, but well worth the time to listen too all the way through, this is arguably one of the best tracks I have heard in the audio portal for a long while, great work.

OMG thanks for the nice review! Yeah, that's a crowd in there. The way the panning worked was a new technique I learned, and I really like the sound of the bass entirely at one end of the headphones, but quite a few people don't like it, so I'll probably tweak it around a bit, but essentially keep it there in some parts. I kind of pictured this as summer, because, being an Australian, our typical summer is going to the beach often, lots of fun and activity, and the flute/wind sound has a nostalgic sound to it, in which it's like looking back on those times as a fun, energetic experience.
Overall, thanks for the compliments.
