Now, you have to forgive me, I do tend to think myself a writer, and most of my inspiration of my writing I draw from music. When I listen to this song, it reminds me of a character I created, a tragic hero known as Luminous the Exile. Granted, he was created fora Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction, as he was an albino echidna, though I never finished the story. Still, this reminds me of his past, when his powers arose and destroyed the village he lived upon, thus causing his blindness and his exile at a young age from the floating isle, Angel Island.
And here I am, rambling about my own works. This is your masterpiece, not mine. For this song to have such an impact on me, as well as its sequel, Mistakes 2, its has to be a very good piece of music. The piano at the start sets a very calm pace until the the rhythmic bassline kicks in as a forebodingof what is to come. A very well placed quote, and the song kicks into full gear witht eh piano still in full presence, which really puts me, honestly, to the point of crying. Its how good it is. For these to be your first few submissions into NewGrounds, you have made an excellent first impression. Bravo, and many encores.
