This is great. An actual Post-Industrial style. I can't seem to achieve it! D=
Add in some raspy, distorted vox, and you're good to go.
Good luck with that industrial band! I can't seem to find any members to form one of my own. No one here even respects electronica! D=
I'd like to hear a more powerful kick and more distortion on this track, however.

But yeah, 10/10. Ace.

"Spectacular"

It's almost like you take Zeromancer (If you don't know who they are, I highly suggest taking a quick peek at their older performances) and cutting it deeper.
For an instrumental with no samples, this comes across as a very strong performance all on it's own.
Thank you for wowing me today! Keep up the very good work.
P.S. I made an account just now JUST to review this!

"very nice"

My friends and I have also been thinking about starting an industrial band, this is definitely inspiring. Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of stealing another artists music. plus I think we might be more industrial metal.

Very Kick ass. Keep up the good work.

but...YOUR STUFF PWNS!! DOOD

First I heared flesh vector and was wowed, but then there is this and it sounds awesomely kickass. Haunting, desparate yet filled with action and suspense. When I complete my degree, and make a movie I am so enlisting your music.

I don't say this often but YOU KICK ASS MAN!!

And I'm pretty sure that if my music was ever in a movie, I'd shit bricks XD

"hell yeah!"

now this... THIS sounds like something from psyclon nine or Suicide Commando... which is very well done. yeah... so it may be considered aggrotech... i just call it industrial/ebm only because i dont want to waste time learning all the diffrent sub-genre's of industrial there are... i just think its easier calling it what i already know it basicly is. I could play counter-strike to this... weird... but it works for me. good work on the song... its awesome!

Author's Response:

Indeed indeed, I appreciate the review! this is the first song I made after I got all my VST's and shit set up... so I'm glad you like it!

"wow"

date: February 14, 2008

i wouldnt concider this fully industrial, but it is amazing, very well mixed, nice soft drums, lead is in lead, but not too strong in any frequency range, just close enouhg to sound great.
love the weird scratchy distorted snare like thing that happens every bar.
if there is a kick, its too soft, but sounds like you just got low echoings of synth taking the place of kick.
very nice overal, great melody, and catchy, intro and outro kinda weak, but it makes it have a great loop

i was listening to it for 20 min without noticing, good job

Haha thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I suppose it would be classified as "Aggrotech" but most people call it Industrial/EBM

Thanks again!

"very gooddddd"

date: February 13, 2008

the whole mix down of the song was impressive.
the composition was flawless.
the only thing is the samples sometimes sound kinda generic.
besides this it is great. it all flowed together very well.
enough layers to shake a stick at.

"Solid."

date: February 13, 2008

Yeah, that was a interesting experaince to be sure. Felt like the song that opened to a game, or the intro movie to a game. Or even the first level. First something. Just a few of the drum effects break the DB level and start to make my speakers just make static, fix that and I'd have no complaints with it. The dual synths at 1:10 got a bit annoying becuase when they overlapped it didn't sound to good, and when you have everything playing it tends to make the speakers cry, and other people's ears whine. Which is what mine did. Very solid and well made, just maybe tone down the phaser for a transition. Its rather abrupt.

February 13, 2008

Author's Response:

Thanks man, I'll definately fix some of that stuff. I probably should master through headphones instead of through my moniters, considering most of the people listening to the song are going to be using headphones >.<

I appreciate the review!

"Respect"

by: Mizar
date: February 13, 2008

It doesn't need vocals. It's cool, just like it is. :D

February 13, 2008

Author's Response:

Haha thanks man :D

I think laying down some vocals could make the song sound less repetitive and whatnot. But it's going to be interesting getting a good vocal pattern to go with the music haha.

Cheers!
