"wonderful!"

date: January 30, 2008

i like ur style--
it actually reminds me of mine, a little--//and coincidence: i've been working on mine FORVER [which is like a couple months--> but i work on it constantly on and off every day]
i'm really liking the wild, fitting rhythm to the song, and the actiony/adventurey tune carries out well. some parts get a little random, but that's what helps make the beautiful :D
and did you used nylon string guitars? it sort of sounds like there's one in there..
the cymbal came on perfect time, and everything about this song makes time pass by.
again, great piece! keep makin stuff like this, i get inspiration from good music i like :D
[ps. the orchestra hits were nicely timed, too]

"Songs and stories"

date: January 25, 2008

It was difficult just where to place the song. True, it isn't as dramatic as most of your songs yet, it is not calm, soft and steady. It seems to jump and hop and well..dance! Not only that it is still epic, a quiet strength. The power is still very much there. When it begins, it gives one the idea of a single drum, but that drum is not just an instument it feels as if it is an anchor to tradition and value. The gathering of drums brings that tradition to a high strength and valor comes to mind. The scene rests falling into time. Suddenly, a single voice that blends with the motion awakes that valor and that decision becomes war or consolidation under peace. The decision is unknown.

I apologize if I have confused those who have read this review, but if it was simple a comment of the tone, pitch, mood, or composition. I feel I would not give justice to the piece. All of these things are well and good. However, it is the emotion the feeling the listener wishes and wants. It is the artist's passion and drive that make all of the material, inmaterial. Thus, I can only say I applaud you again well done and good show!

~When the fires dance it is not destruction that must follow it is passion~

"Nice"

i dont even like classical but still this is a beautiful song, you did a wonderful song with the tunes and the timing. I liked how you made classical, which i found boring, into a more tuneful song but still maintaining the category of classic together, excellent job.

"lets drink!"

date: January 9, 2008

hey this one reminds me of a tavern in our town here. its a medievil pub where you can drink, sing and act ufff whatever you want^^ troll, barbar or a knight!
great for drifting away and sing and drink with his friends. we made with our band a song a few weeks ago about a wanderer who travels through the land and keeps his memory in his heart! and one part in the song is "so wanderer if you have seen us here, keep the northern land in youre heart and sing and drink like we would be here still by youre side!" maybe i can mail the whole text to you if you want.

"another picture...."

date: January 5, 2008

'Unseen Dance' ... the title imidiatly sparked a certain picture before I listened to it... the lifely and full tune did the rest to color it into a somewhat morbid tale:

The dark hall of a castle long destroyed, buried under the sands and stone, until a party of brave adventurers dare to venture in with only the light of a fickle torch to guide them.
Though the hall is deep under the earth, a wind springs up as they look around, it overturns leaves of velum, blows the dust around and sets the chandelabre swinging.
The intruders come to a halt, looking around for the source - but their torch is blown out - leaving them to listen to the faint sound of wind - and the distand sound of laughter. The laughter of a young woman.
Movements in the darkness, followed by her voice, humming a merry tune.
One of the men strikes his flint, setting another torch ablaze, only to see the vanishing form of a dancing girl - and a heap of bones, dressed in faded silk, discolored by the dark mark of spilled blood.

"Good!"

When I Listen to this Music I sense the Forgotten Of the Past Song Of Hope

Hammer strikes steel, as the tribe of mysterious people create ships that sails the sky for their own future of doom or life and created weapons that can bring down lighting from their barrels of power
The tribe amass a gaint army of likes of which no one has seen of the past
A girl walks through the city with a tear down on her corner of her eye, as she enter the pub
The band strikes up a tune as the girl sings on the stage and grogs are being passed out to those sitting at the tables and listening to the girl's song of the past
The spotlight of the girl gave hope to those willy to see their future
As the ships were set the people in the pub cleared out, but the band stayed with the girl who was singing for new hopes and lifes of the tribe
The night sky clouded as fire were falling down on the city
As the town was burnt the night skies clouds were clearing out as the fire swarmed around the band
Then forming figures and they danced to the girl's song
And the burnt town was gone flowers, trees, grass, bushes were growing over the burnt town as the earth underneath the band began to rise and the song of the tribe was heard from far away and the people listened on the ships begun to crying and saying goodbye to their homeland
For the band and the girl they disappeared, but their song was heard from far away as the song begun to rise the hopes and new life for those seeking their futures of the present life for them
As the curtain falls the hopes of people begins to shine for the song has lighted their life of hopefulness of their lifes of the futures

What I get from the story is simple yet profound... or just simple ha ha
Hammers strike steel, as a tribe of faceless people create ships that sail the skies and weapons that produce lightning and fire from it's barrels.
The tribe of Faceless people amass a giant army the likes of which no one on the lone planet has seen.
A girl walks through the city alone as a tear forms in the corner of her eyes as she enters a pub. The spot light is bright upon her beautiful face as she begins to sing. The band strikes up a tune and grog is being passed to those sitting at the tables.
The ships set sail for our city and the girl continues to sing, the entire town unaware of the hell that is about to be unleashed upon them.
The night carries on and the pub clears out except for the band, finally fire falls from the skies... uhm... fade to black
