ArseRockets are always a nice thing to think about. In fact, I think I'll use that for the title of the next track that I decide to post. :D

This is the score for a love scene in a neo noir sci fi escape film. 'nuff said?

This piece has so much breadth to it, new effects popping in and out of both (or more? I only have 2 on this comp) channels, and the vox, which I believe says love. The doopy synth that pokes it's head in periodically throughout sounds like a future ATM's booping and beepings. I've always been a bit jealous of your ability to glitch things up to hell and beyond.

Author's Response:

Thanks AC - really nice to hear from you - been a while.

Again - apologies for the extremely late response.
Good ears there - the word "love" does appear in one of the samples used. The doopy synth is in fact sounds from a future ATM. I recieved an email from myself dated 15 years in the future and there was a .blit file attached. (New format - won't actually be invented until 2018) I was going to delete it but then, six days prior, I got another email from my future self with a freeware copy of Blit2Wav attached and I managed to convert the samples into a usable format. From what I understand, my future self is doing alright - not making any money from music though, so I guess I don't need to try that hard. Not like I'm going anywhere with it. :)

Author's Response:

lots of fans? I don't know about that - this stuff is sort of a niche style, not all that many people are into the crap...er... I mean "music" that I post. I appreciate the vote of confidence though!

Thanks a ton!

Again - as with a few others - I'm so sorry for the incredibly late response. I just didn't notice that I had unanswered reviews on this track. I haven't been by your page in a bit - I guess I should check it out and see what kind of madness you've posted up.

Kinda has that Acid Jazz feel into it. Groovy and relaxing at the same time, without a hint of getting me bored, even after 3 reruns.

Is there anything wrong? Can't find any. Length? Nah... I can loop it and it's still chillin'.

Awesome groove! 5 and 10. ^_^

Thanks jnry3,

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this track!

Cool track mate, me likes very much.

Tis weird mind, nice underlying ambience synths, just enough to give it some chordal sounds. The 'beat' obviously is taking precedance in the track. Which works for this track, Though i probably would have liked to hear some more 'music' if you know what i mean.

Keep going through on repeat and i'm picking up more and more BG sounds every listen. The sum seems to be a whole of its parts in this track especially.

Production is faultless as usual, good stereo, etc etc.

9/10

and a five.

I have a sneaking suspicion that last guy was talking about me... haha
at any rate, this is top-notch; superbly constructed, excelently produced, and downright enjoyable to listen to. The voices especially add a nice touch.

I just went through a bunch of crap from the AP. Litterally, crap. Stuff, that sounds like this...but by accident...and with much clipping...and off time, and just plain, stupid.

It was nice to come across professionalism, skill, talent, and...dare I call this NON metal piece "musak to mine EARS"? Hell yeah. Nice work man. Dug it. 5ed it.

Current Score

4.77 / 5.00 (+ 0.070)

November 23, 2007

Author's Response:

Yeah, Metal is very cool but I just can't produce any decent stuff. The closest thing (and not a very good job either) that I've done was the JFGI swf that was really only meant as a joke - see it here: http://www.bigfatsecret.com/jfgi.swf

As far as crap goes - that's what the AP is good for!

Thanks for the vote!

You like chopping things don't you- You also seem to enjoy using five hundreds of different FX's and sounds, or simply as many as you can possibly insert into a certain space of time.

Anyway, 'twas some really enjoyable stuff, only one thing I didn't like was the voice-ish thing in the start of it. But that's about nothing of the song, so it matters less than a drop of water in the Pacific ocean.

November 23, 2007

Author's Response:

Yes, I very much like chopping and cutting things up. There really aren't as many effects and sounds as you might think but they're all layered together and in places there are many things happening so it gives the impression that there's a lot going on. I'm glad that you listened. Thank you!

Not the stuff I usually listen to you know but the sound and everything is very sweet and there is this good old LJ trippyness which is just lollerskates with mushrooms! You're still a looser though. ;D

5'd down! lol

Yes, I know how much of a loser I am. I am made of 100% fail. :D
