Through the song it had different feels to it in what I heard, which made it unique and awesome to me.

"Really good."

date: February 28, 2008

I liked it. The beat kept my head bobbing the entire time. I could totally imagine going to a club and dancing to this.

Author's Response:

Heh, you're the second person to mention that this could be playing in a club... maybe I should give it a shot somehow, sometime? XD Thanks for the review, glad you liked it! :D

Now I didn't see much of that original there, it was more of a piano thang in the beginning then it evolved into a bit of trance that didn't resemble falling farther much at all- well anywhee, it changed its mind after a while into a HUGE GODDAMN MIDDLE PART which to me was way longer than it should. And then it went all bombin' with a supersaw awesoming up the melody. Outro also was bit too long for my tasty.

So well alright then, I DID see a bit of the original there, guess it woulda been way too repetitive if you used the melody more, cause it ain't too much of a varied melody to begin with. I'd really really love to hear a more present, less filtered piano thoe

Bah I don't have much to add. Everything seems perfecly fine to me.
Yeah

Sorry for coming so short with teh improvmentz zuggestionz D:

Author's Response:

The original is there - in the sense that this is where I originally wanted to take this song. Yeah, the middle part was repetitive. D: Again, I didn't kill myself over the diversity and I'm not going to go back and fix it now. :\

The filtered piano is an idea I took from the original, though I guess I could have chosen a "meatier" piano sample, if you know what I mean - now that I think about it, the one that I chose felt a bit thin and weak.

Nah, it's fine, reviews are always appreciated - thanks for reviewing, and for the high ratings! :D

I wish I could compose something this amazing.
Good job. I loved the transition from semi-classical opening into trance

Author's Response:

All I can say is, give it a shot, and keep at it - you won't be making stuff like this right away, but sooner or later you'll be making something awesome. ;D

Thanks for the review and the 10, glad you liked it! :D

"Ambrosia for the Ears"

by: Jinra
date: February 26, 2008

I kind of dont like repetitive techno/trance, but for some reason this one was well how can i put this... my mind was in a trance hahahaha

Keep up the good work. only thing i would prefer is taking out a beat in the repetitive loops, but i guess that is what trance is in general. Nonetheless thats just my preference. But like i stated, Ambrosia to my ears.

February 26, 2008

Author's Response:

Don't you think it got the name "trance" for a reason? :P This song wasn't particularly meant to put you in one, but if it did anyway, cool. :D

Hmm, you're the first person who reviewed more than a one-liner or so since this song made the front page, which is pretty awesome. Thanks for that. :D Glad you liked it, thanks for the review!

"Cool!"

date: February 28, 2008

This was definitely cool! Really well made trance-song!

The bassline... oh, the bassline, I felt moved when the tones of the bassline moved up and down. Really good bassound there. And the snare and hats, yummy. I'll put this fumuckah on my mp3 and I'll be pumped up by it.
I only wish the loud strings that came at 04:00 were echoing, but that's probably personal preference. Clean, or messy? Haha.

Keep on doing this, YOU!! :) Thanks for this experience.

Author's Response:

Finally, I'm not the only harmony person around! :D I like the bassline, too - a bit simple, to be honest, but it worked. :)

I think you might be asking me to stick some delay on the lead synth, as there were no strings at 4:00. :P It might have worked, but for the purpose of this song, I wanted the lead to cut off like it did.

I'LL keep on doing it! :D Check by my page now and then, actually, I'm updating daily and I plan to submit something very soon. >:) Thanks for the review, glad you like it!
