Best submssion ever? Go look for better submissions, then! XD This song is pretty awesome, I won't deny that (come on, front page :P) but look harder - there's better stuff out there, trust me. ;)

I used FL Studio 7 Producer Edition, reFX Nexus, and Vengeance Essential Clubsounds. It's expensive stuff, though, and don't expect to be making awesome stuff just because you have it. It takes experience too, you know. ;)

I thought the transitions were fine... sometimes you want them to be abrupt, sometimes you want them to be flowing. I couldn't really have faded out the bass at all, it was the last thing playing before the orchestral section and taking it out would have left the song virtually empty, save the wind FX which was by that point pretty quiet. ;) Thanks anyway for the suggestions. :)

Once again, no need to make a big deal out of it, though you're right - rhenn didn't go in depth at all. :P

The slow part is too long, but I gave myself an easy time with stuff like that, as the song would never have gotten finished otherwise.
