This is epic, good sir.

The vocals, lyrics and background work together to paint some great emotion. This sounds like a professional chart topper. No joke. If I heard this on the radio I would listen happily and think something something like "Wow, that sounds deep, cool and insightful. I've got to get the lyrics for it and see what other songs this guy has."

In fact, I was gonna ask for lyrics if Maestro hadn't beaten me to it =O. Darn you and your speedy reviews! Lyrics were written by you as well? Masterful my friend, masterful. If you don't mind my asking, where does your inspiration for this come from? Is it personnel experience?

Your voice is amazing. I'd assumed it to be an unwritten rule that NG audio artists couldn't sing very well. Well, I was wrong I guess =). You seem to have hit the vocals straight on the head. I love the effect. I don't know if its the effects you applied to the voice or just your inflection and overall singing but dude... Its candy to my ears.

I've never seriously considered this for other artists but if you get an album out you can consider it bought by me (and you can almost be assured, quite a few other people).

You get a 5 and 10, good sir.

But remember, the battle has only just begun =)

After listening to this, and Khuskan's Not Enough, I've realised something.

Voices make things sound so much better.

This is masterful, my friend- there are naught but small problems with it.

A very few small problems as well.

Maybe the echo on the voice wasn't the best type of sound you were going for.

It wasn't bad, but I feel it could do with some fixin'.

ANYWAYS, guitars- synthesized or real? Because if that's synth, GUESSWHATYURTEACHINME. >:(

Very nice, it has a good solid feeling to it. I am going to guess you have had some singing lessons. Lyrics are perfect, but I don't know about the echo effect on your voice it doesn't feel right. Overall Great work.

Need I really say more? I mean, its nice to hear another opinion, but mine would definitely be a replica of these two other reviewers. You did a hell of a good job on this song. I won't subtract points for it being in the 'wrong' category, like you said. It still sounds beautiful, and I'm happy you submitted this to newgrounds. This is going to definitely place in the charts, and circulate for a while. I wish you well, man. Take care, and keep up the awesome work!

Just wow. I love the effects on the mic. What exactly did you do? You really put yourself out there by putting a vocalized track up. I like it! You've got a good voice.
Man, I'd love to make a vocalized song like this. If you ever need another singer, I'm always available.

Lyrics
The lyrics really fit the mood of this piece. Your voice and the way you articulate most if not all of your phrases makes it seem like the piano and your voice were just... built together. Some people just can not sing to a piano, you are not one of them.

Instruments
I love the voicing of all the instruments. The strings are subtle enough not to take the spotlight, yet this song wouldn't seem right without them. As with all the pieces. The piano is flawless. Like it was built just for this song. Drums... Wow. I find it hard to get drums and vocals to work together right, but you've hit the nail on the head!

Overall
No song is perfect, but this is damn near it.

I would love it if you could rate my newest classical song "Drown Me (Miles Apart)"
I'm considering lengthening it and putting vocals to it...

First review :D!

That mic is REALLY giving you some awesome vibes. That autotune which I assume you used, really REALLY helps hit that sweet spot.

The lyrics of this piece are also quite interesting. I can't quite remember all the lyrics, so if you could tell me them in the response that would be swell.

My favorite part is 2:11 where your voice doubles up very slightly and then jumps into that extra reverbed *was there extra reverb there* high octave.

Though I do love the effects on your voice, you know what would have really been sweet here. If you had a quiet segment, with very quiet instruments, and your voice, pure without effects, or minimal effects, sing then. The contrast would have been... brilliant.

Orchestration wise, the song flows pleasently, no hitches, or at least, nothing that jumped out at me. You as the creator probably have like this one spot you don't like. Not a problem for me at this point.

Oh well, sing and get better, because there is potential here, and when you become a millionaire, i'll know where you live :D!
