Great song, but recording issues make it hard to listen to on anything but low volumes.

yeah, I fixed that issue on the master. This and a lot of my other acoustic material was just recorded using an onboard mic on a Boss Micro BR so the quality is really not that great, but a little bit of x-noise & eq tweaking sorts it out to a more listenable level, personally i like a bit of noise too, as long as it's not too intrusive:P

"even though i usually just download these tracks"

these tracks are so good im actually going to buy your album when i get back from vacation, you're one of the artists who needs to get more publicity. i mean, on newgrounds, theres alot of electronic and techno, but its really refreshing to have acoustic artists like yourself on here. im just learning to play acoustic, and im already requesting my teacher to write down these chords for me :). is your music on itunes by the way? oh, and 9000/9000

it is indeed, my acoustic album ;The Don't Knows' is under my alias 'Weeksy' on iTunes, alternatively there's the CD of it available from my site www.kingbastard.co.uk
ps. i'm playing this song with a capo on the 6th fret and the high E string is dropped to D, that should make it easier to figure out alhtough personally I now play it without the dropped D.

I think I've listened to all of your acoustic songs...
and they are all really good...
I give them all 10/10...
while with your electronica songs are hit and miss...
some are really good...
and some are just ok...
I'm gonna probably buy "the dont knows"...

kingbastard is an old name that links to my electronic material, the acoustic material I actrually release undr the name 'weeksy' or 'weeksy & the amoebas' but as i didnt want to create a new account on NG i thought best to submit under this one so the tracks get a bit more attention.

The lyrics are really just from experiences. I tend to write quite introspectively. I also keep a lot of skecthbooks and notepads around to jot down ideas as soon as they spring to mind, sometimes just a sentence can spark of enough ideas & inspiration for me to write a whole songs lyrical content.
