good work

Personally I don't like "Classical" music that much but this one is pretty good!

Glad you like it =3

pretty good :P

very good work! You mustve spent tons of time on this :o. The base part of it is fine, great length but the style of music isn't my type but im basically voting on your effort originality (+10) and how catchy it is. Everything is perfect in all aspects except for when it loops around 1:40-1:50 XP. i really hope you have more in stock for us in the future!

Valtrix responds:

I spent quite a bit on this, but it didn't seem all that long because I was really enjoying it. Glad you liked the originality--it does have a very different sound. I guess it maybe goes on just a little bit too long at that section, but it's my favorite part, so it doesn't really seem that long to me =)

I'll always have more music in store! Bwhaha!

cool

I like the 'whatever they are strings' that go through the song. Oboe sounds like it's panned somewhat to the right? That turns out quite annoying actually. The drums don't fit this kind of music, but they do sound well together with all the string instruments. It has kind of a 'walking' tyle to it, which I like. Great quality and clarity, there's no issues at all with the mastering. Piano sounds much like a cheap soundfont, but it's never very present in this song, so it doesn't matter too much. Great work!

review me back lal

Valtrix responds:

They sound is labeled "woodwinds," and it shouldn't be panned at all. Maybe it was your speakers? I guess the drums are a bit iffy, but it was supposed to be almost a marching song, which you said it seemed to fit. I know that they could have been better, but they turned out better than I epected.

Why don't you like that piano? I thought it was actually a pretty good sound. Maybe the reverb on it made it a bit much though.

Thanks for the review!

Nice Melody

I think you had a lot of good riffs. I'm just not sure how much I liked the structuring. It seemed like some of the parts didn't transition well into others. You definitely have solid material. And Lord knows I have trouble with my structuring. It is something I need lots of work on. Just getting the right layers and what not. I can tell you have potential, and you'll only get better. I'll give you an 8 out of 10 because everything was good besides the structure and flow. Keep up the good work.

Valtrix responds:

Mmm...structure is so hand. On one hand, I had a better structure following choruses/verses, but the flow was taken away because of that. I agree that it is a bit choppy in some spots, but I kind of wanted the parts to be seperate ideas. Probably could have come up with better transitions if I would have worked even longer, but I'm really pleased at where it's at now. I know one or two spots do have good flow for sure, but I can really hear the rest. Just didn't really know what to do, so I had to leave it.

Thanks for the advice!

Whoa

As far as original conceptions go, this is fantastic. Has soo many parts that run together, excellently. I think a tad of eq" ing or, reverb would mash everything toghether under the same atmosphere. The insruments are sharp, and to put together a whole song like this is awesome. Enjoyed! and ...fived.\m/

Valtrix responds:

Thank you so much. It's stuff like this that completely make my day. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
