"Dance??"

date: September 16, 2007

ok im guna help you get some inspiration for your tracks. you can find ATB at about anyy music store that calls itself a music store. If you want to here some good Hard Dance look for SCARF!, United Beats, Tune up!, Party Pimpz, Rocco, DJ Dean, Cascada. iTunes radio (electronic) is a GREAT place to look for electronic music. Hope this helps.

Author's Response:

Oh ok, thanks, but I don't find inspiration by just listening to one genre of music, I find it by listening to others. And I didn't mean to clasify this as dance, it was meant to be miscellaneous. Sorry to disappoint. But thanks for the comment, I greatly appreciate it.

"What ya saying "only a girl""

date: September 16, 2007

True, dance it isn't but a nice smooth jazz definitely. When you compose your music be careful in what you categorize it as. Dance is just what it is Dance, sweat almost an aerobics workout. So this may be played more in a pilates class verses a kickboxing class. Got it!!
Girls can make some good stuff to don't sell yourself short. Missy Elliot is a girl!!

Author's Response:

Lol, thank you for the many compliments, but I had said 'and a girl' because I thought he figured I was a guy...which I get alot on here. I'm not selling myself short, don't worry.

"Doesn't sound right..."

date: September 13, 2007

You had a really nice beat going in the beginning and I was waiting to hear something magnificent...but then at around 00:15 you brought in the choir Aahs that sounded distorted to the point that the audio just did not sound that good anymore.

00:45 not bad...that low drum could go.

01:03 Overdriver Guitar...I can't say that this is really dance though...I just don't feel the swing that Dance music usually has..

I am sorry man...this one could have been pretty damn great, but dance it is not.

Keep trying, I started out with some interesting pieces too :P

Good beats and the snapping of the finger was a decent add.

Author's Response:

Oh ok. It's no problem actually lol. I'm using my first mix program where you don't just copy and paste samples XD. Since it doesn't sound so much like dance, I'm going to try and remix it and make it sound more...dance worthy. But hold out on me, I'm only 15 lol. (And a girl)
