Epic space ambient, tried my best making it diverse this time.

December 23rd edit: I changed up some stuff, so now it sounds a bit trancier- and generally more lively- especially in the last minutes. ENJOI

As you've said, not your best, could be better, lacking minor details, bt I'm tired so I won't bother with it T_T

"picking up where I left off.."

date: May 6, 2009

long.. strings.. pads.. no percussion - interesting twist.. crashes and that wood thingy here and there. Ah there comes some bass and occasional percussion. I like the focus on the melodies of the 8-bit lead without actually making it the focus. It sits well and is cradled within the song. The percussion is good too - it has a good presence and just the right amount of reverb :)

the wood thing is starting to get on my nerves tho now.. its too.. constant.. crashes are iffy. I like the pitch bending of the 8-bit however. Now its sort of starting to sound like a nightvision song - mixed with some Crud. I think its that arp progression.. and the bendiness reminds me of nightvision.

interesting - some parts were iffy - but .. entertaining :P

Hi again, I don't have sound atm and I don't really remember much of this song, so I can't really answer to this one... I'll come back and write something proper if I can and feel like it :)

"Not as good as the original"

date: June 22, 2008

I loved the original version of Glowing Galaxies but this new editted version....I don't like it. It just isn't as good as the original at all. It is far too quiet and the bass sounds the original had were awesome but the way this one sounds is just...not my style. If you still have the original, please post it because that version good IMO. Otherwise, it is still an ok song.

"Where's the Beef"

If there is any song more ambient based than this one I concede. There didn't seem to be a focal point in this song. It was very wafty and drifted in the air without any solid base. It was ok in terms of having me relax a little bit more as I listen to the song due to the comforting sounds webbed together calmly. Although, it may be hard to look back at this piece and say Ahhh...I remember that song due to there not being a lot of things I feel I can latch on to and remember.

Overall...I do think the tune is very relaxing and maybe great for meditation. Actually...might be perfect for meditation. It's pretty good.

Author's Response:

Yeah, it's pretty much a drifting and whimsy piece without much structure- I myself don't like it at all anymore :)

Thanks for the review!
