My tribute to the two greatest first-person shooters ever.

The primary track is "E1M1 - Hanger" from id Software's cultcolossus: Doom (1993). The second one is the universal themesong for the Duke Nukem franchise that I myself remember most from Duke Nukem 3D (1996).

A great salute to the awesome, ultra-violent, skullfucking, alienstomping, demonbutchering, chaosinfested FPS-revolutions ever to pound your shit up behind your eyesockets.

Awesomeness: 10/10
Concept: 10/10
Mixing: 0/10

This is really good song and shows lot of potential, but it sounds horrible in my soundsystem. Low and middle levels are all the way on the top while high levels are barely moving.

It sounds like I have a pillow in front of my speakers :(

Mix this again with good software!

Author's Response:

when i created this song I used ModPlug tracker... Its horrible for mixing. there are pretty much NO tools for it. However, I use Renoise now and its a hell of alot better. But I don't really have the energy to fix it.

Anyway, If it sounds like its muffled, then I would think its your soundsystem actually. The main problem with my modplug compositions were the total opposite. Lack of low hz. So try listening to it with some headphones plugged straight into your soundcard and try again. or disable any EQs and whatnot.
