Castle Crashers Contest Entry- Epic Orchestral piece fit for a menu screen or cinematic.

Rated 3 / 5 stars

sounds like there was a lil piece of jurrasic park in it

DavidOrr responds:

There very well could be, although if it was it's completely unintended. This has a very classic epic feel to it, and a lot of big movies such as Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean uses very epic scores.

Compare the scores of Gladiator and Pirates, for instance, and you'll find an extremely similar sound track. Part of the reason is because Hans Zimmer did both movies, but unfortunately epic orchestral music can sound very similar in style.

Thanks for the review!

I love it! The contrast between the loud and quiet parts is pleasing, and I like the smoothness with which it loops. Good luck with the entry!

Thank you!

Great composition!

Awesome, really epic and really sounds like it came straight out of a movie.

DavidOrr responds:

Great to hear that, because that's where I'm ultimately heading. Glad I've got the right sound!

I 5 this every time I see it, I can't help it.

I'd love to know what libraries you use as well.

DavidOrr responds:

I used the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold and Symphonic Choirs to write this piece. Everything you hear in this uses those two libraries.

Thanks for the support!
