"Need to look into this"

by: Aci6

Author attention, I listened to this for about 1 minute with it starting up and then cutting out awkardly. It continued to do so, maybe its just me but please have a look into it, it may be an issue with the audio or something.

Author's Response:

Huh, that's weird.

I haven't had any problems in the NG audio portal flash player, Winamp, or iTunes.

Could you tell me what player you're using? The NG flash one?

Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm inclined to believe you, though, sometimes the Fraunhofer MP3 encoder built into Cubase 4 creates tracks that make some players choke.

If you're still interested in hearing the track, you can here it here (at cfxmusic dot com):

"$$$GREAT$$$"

date: July 10, 2007

This audio to me sounded quite strange. I felt that tiny bit of epic that you were talking about in this audio. I loved how this audio started to pick up from the beginning and how you added more to this. The beats and rhythems were nicely done. This audio would be really good in an RPG game of some sort. Overall, this audio was great and I enjoyed hearing this! Great Work cfx! :D

-Thanks for your vote, Seamonky! You voted 5 for Zero Spirit, raising its score from 0.00 to 5.00. :D

Author's Response:

Awesome Seamonky, thanks!

If it's one thing I try to do, it's make the music interesting very early on.

Most people get bored of music really quickly if they think it's going to turn out the way they expect... so I try to still have my "long intro" but keep things really moving to consistently catch the listener off-guard.

Zero Spirit is an odd one for me... I did it all in one (multi-hour) sitting, and in all likelihood it should be like a 6 minute track, but flash authors might want something short and sweet and to-the-point, so I didn't feel bad about posting it at only 2:34 in length.

Zero Spirit also represents some of my recent skill-ups in mixing and mastering, which hopefully makes up for the simplicity of the music itself.

As always, looking for custom collab work... ;)
