Inspired by the series, this song is a combination of dark gothic choir & industrial metal

"Really Soulmasking-"

date: January 9, 2009

You have a natural Knack for capturing the mood for most of the subject matter in these songs, and just making them sound really surreal and fluid.

and that is truly the sign of a good artist.

I am a Firm Believer that when good work is done, it deserves praise.

"Wow...nice"

date: March 8, 2008

This quite a nice peace, i can link it to quite a few of the LOK games. If Crystal Dynamics had included Turel in the finished version of Soul Reaver it could have gone in as the battle sequence but without voice overs :), or maybe credits sequence. But it still has a lot of originality, nice track.

Author's Response:

Thanks, I have a version of this song without voice overs. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I remember when I finished the game I was like awesome... abrubt but awesome. About a month later I was sitting there and realized... WAIT WHERE THE HECK WAS TUREL?! Anyways, I appreciate your great review, and generous scores.

Author's Response:

To be honest I didn't base it on any one sole song of the series in particular. There were influences by certain ones, but overall I just wanted to create a song that helped convey and embody the series. I'm glad you found it to resemble one of the songs from the game, because that means I did something right. If you want I have a version without vox, just give me your email in a pm and I'll send it on over. Thanks for your great review and generous score!

"Brings back memories"

date: July 13, 2007

Yeah, that really sounds like Soul Reaver music. I especially like the mysterious growling and howling noises spread throughout.

Author's Response:

yeah, I loved those games. Not a huge vampire fan but those games perfected the entire genre. I'm glad my song brought back memories (I assume good ones) and that you found it to be enjoyable. The growling noises and such are me, but I tried to imitate the game with them. Thank you very much for your review, I appreciate it.
