This one just kind of popped into my head the other day...ho hum.

EDIT: Wow, this track was a ton of work. Making everything fall together in a way that sounded somewhat believable was not easy. All the instruments in this track are synthetic, and I'm sorry if that offends you, but in all honesty, with the equipment I had at the time I made this, it just seemed like presenting it synthetically would provide a much cleaner sound than through recording. So here it is.

Also, I wrote the melody years ago on some one else's bass, but due to the limitations of musical typing, I had to refrain the melody to one octave. It seemed really limited at the time, and transposed to a bass, the melody itself seems a lot simpler, but I really liked what happed to it in the long run.

There are also lyrics to this, but I decided not to include them after singing them drunkenly along to the song at my brothers wedding :P

"This is catchy dawg"

date: June 15, 2007

It's a very mellow, relaxing, reflecting, and jazzy melody!

but it does get boring.

but it's still sweet.

Oh hey, that pianos nice.

Pianos are pretty cool. So are guitars and bass.

As well as drums.

That ending is greaaaat

Author's Response:

har, thanks for the review :D Glad you liked it. It does get boring i'll admit that, but I don't really know what to do to change that boringness.

"mmm nice catchy song"

date: June 11, 2007

nice melody theme, the progression sounds a bit familiar. the drums are pretty cool, nice hi hat work. when you play the guitar-sounding synth, it has a catchy rhythm to it. cool solo laced in near the end of the track, it kinda blends in with the rest of the work, you could have brought out the sound more by panning it a little to the left or right. nice track quarl :)

Author's Response:

har! Thanks for the reivew. I love it when people take the time out of their lives to write up something. It feels so nice. I'll make sure to return the favor!

I'm glad you liked the song. I used a really generic progression so I'm not suprised if it was easy to follow. The entire song is synthetic so...yeahhhhh...and the solo is improvised. I've secretly been working on that melody for two years though. It was the first thing I ever wrote on the guitar, so I just had to transepose it...ARrrrAeraqr.
