My first VG arrangement and "Jazz" submission. Enjoy!
I am an nintendo 64 zelda fan:). And i love this song. Try making a song on the water temple on ocarina of time. I love that song:). Keep making music!!!!!!
Oooh, that is a song that I've wanted to arrange for some while. I love the water temple theme! ^_^
Thank you very much for the review. I'm glad you liked it, my fellow zelda fan! :D
EDIT: Did I say Water Temple? I meant to say Serenade of Water. Oh well, Water Temple is okay, too. xD
retro and modern
Well my last review for this morning(just another bluecollard working day)
I like the modern jazz injected into this old game tune (which by the way Zelda ocarina of time is a great game)
i don't know how you did it but you managed to infuse the happy and the sad into this piece. the light and the dark...You good sir have achieved the desirable shade of grey.
But...Isn't it night? I'm just kidding. :P
Well, I'm glad you found this to be a desirable shade of grey. This one is odd among my music, as it doesn't really evoke any one emotion to me. It isn't sad or happy, and it doesn't give me any specific image. It simply...*Is*. Grey would be a good term to use.
You've really lifted it up!
Nice, really nice. It's cool how you've changed (more like... err.. dressed it up?) the song yet the original is still lurking inside.
But I dunno... Windmill Blues maybe fits it better? Isn't Jazz more upbeat an "happy"? Well I'm no music expert and the song rocks either way ;3
Blues might be a little better fitting, but this isn't technically blues OR jazz. Jazz usually has much weirder chords and is more complex. This is too "simple" for jazz. It doesn't really follow the typical 12-bar-blues formula, either. It's got a little blues scale here and there, though. So, it's more like "Jazzed up blues" I guess. O_o
Hahaha! Well, thank you for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
i would have never thought it would work so well in jazz form!
It's not *technically* Jazz, but I couldn't think of a better name. xD
I'm glad to hear it worked, though. Thanks for the review!
A bit slower than the actual thing though......
The tempo is somewhat slower, but it might also be because I changed the time signature from 3/4 to 4/4.
Thanks for the review! :D
