I've never played any of the Shenmue games before but that music is very beautiful. I really like pretty it sounds played on a piano.

Well, whoever he is, I am sure that you created the song just as well. I liked the tune! I can see that you have a talent with the piano. =)

I do have talent with the piano. Though the talent that created the basic tune for this song was not mine. Just you wait though! Ten or so weeks from now if I have the room in my dorm or apartment (whatever >.>) I will buying a piano and then we will see how good I am still after more than two years of no more than looking at one.

"A surprising treat"

I never expected someone to remake anything from Shenmue. Not that it wasn't great, it just isn't very well known.

Haha...when I first found Newgrounds it was because of the Flash Portal. I sifted through most everything on there and I eventually found myself in the less known Audio Portal. Well, ok, I love music, no doubt about that, so I went through and found the Video Game area and I noticed something...everyone on there, at the time and even now for the most part, only did the songs from the games that were well known.

Thinking back I can't say I really minded this, but once I started getting into composing I said to myself that I would only do a well-known track once in awhile and that I would only go about and do the stuff most people haven't really heard of. Thus the creation of this song.

Thanks for the review and the 8/10 (hell...ANOTHER review o.o).

"forlorn still hoping :)"

i like this. i'm muting animal crossing and playing this as a loop instead. haha

also, it's currently raining outside so even better the mood.
i would love for you to continue doing this project and adding stuff to it.
i'm already imagining the next bit of the song ascending to this dramatic heartwrenching bit with violins and then coming back to this loop. mmm, lovely.

thanks for posting quality stuff here. i've been favouriting your tracks as i listen to them one by one. lol

haha thanks...but you haven't come to the worse tracks yet T.T...I have another audio coming in in about a week...I have kept it under wraps up until now...look for it.

"pretty nice and soothing."

I can definetly picture rain, cause it is raining outside my house right now. heh.
Anyway, I like the way this piece flows. I would have liked to here alittle more of the celesta, and perhaps alittle more notes in the left hand of the piano would have given the song more of a moving feeling. Overall nice job!
