"A few tips"

date: April 22, 2007

Dude, you're clipping pretty bad, it makes it sound like shit, honestly. Make sure you adjust the preamp so it doesn't clip when you play. If it's too soft, raise the master volume, just don't clip like that!. 2nd, have a plan to where this song is going, sometimes it just sounds like banging on a guitar. Keep the rhythm guitar and lead guitar seperated, maybe pan one right and one left. Do you have a drum machine on your sequencer? If so use it, make some stupid easy beat and it can sound much better.

I could tell you had something, but it needs drums. Keep practicing!

"((VOTED 2))"

date: April 21, 2007

Im sorry dude but it just wasnt that good. First there is like making it up while you play and then theres just randomly moving strings around. That is what it sounded like. And most people who do the metal songs dont have a drum set. Try using a program like fruity loops for your drum beats. Better luck next song. Ill keep an eye on your songs.

Author's Response:

Ehh, I can't blame ya. I do have SOME skill, right? I had to use my guitar twice to make it sound like 2 guitars, so I really can't blame you for say what you said.
