"Aura sounding"

by: Aci6
date: July 10, 2007

This audio has some static like effects that plague it down, the tune sounds very cool as if a final apocalypse has occured or something but the end it becomes clear that this audio is one to avoid, it sounds very etchy but nice eough to listen to a few times, anymore you will get annoyed.

Author's Response:

I hear what you're saying.

That's pretty good feedback. I know exactly the type of sound you're talking about, and I know just how to avoid it in the future.

As for this track -- I don't plan on submitting a 'fixed' version unless someone wants to use it in a project, whereby I'll customize to fit.

Honesty = win.

"everything ud expect in an ambient song"

date: April 15, 2007

I love it

it's something you would hear in the background of any good video game

I get the sense of a desolate landscape or the destruction of a battle that had just took place

Author's Response:

My usual critics claim I do my best work when I 'hit the Ambient button'.

Plenty more where this came from -- as soon as I get it remixed, remastered, and posted to Newgrounds!

I do my best to evoke emotion, especially when I don't have a driving beat to spur on the song's progression.

After all, there are musical rules of thumb, and then there's actually writing the music which turns into the final product.

I find that rule-abiding tunes don't fare nearly as well as those infused with a bit of art and soul...

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed. :)
