Cool song, bad loop

I have to with what Bezman said about this one. It sounds like you were making an intro and then an actual loop - good idea if you split them up, but in this case bad idea.

I do like the intro though. However, the drums are just a tad too crazy and throw it off. The drums in the rest of the song are simple and get the job done.

This is a very original piece. I like the bells and it's strong on all the musical aspects. I like the little chaotic breakdowns at the end - gives it that chaotic battle sound like you'd hear in oldschool video game. This is definitely distinguishable as a battle loop and thats a good thing.

I think if it weren't for the poor looping cause by that introduction, you'd have something pretty good here. Unfortunately, it throws the loop off and makes it hard to say how well it will do. Either way good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I definatly see what you meen about the bad loop, and this may have been a case where adding something extra took away from the whole. But thanks for both your criticisms and your praises.

Good for early 90's arcade-esque medieval game.

This piece sounds kinda medieval-ish to me.

Btw, I'm guessing that it's meant to loop round to the 12s mark on subsequent attempts? I kinda think that you'd be serving yourself better if you submitted the intro separately. Flash authors get stuff from the NGAP because we can't do fancy seamless loops, quality tunes and whatnot! If you submitted the loop part separate from the intro, it'd just make it easier for authors to use your stuff.

Anyway, it has a decent vibe. Kinda like the old arcade games with that electronic melody in the fore (although the drums are a step up...).

It could be awesome for a swordfighting game. Or maybe a game where you run and avoid medieval traps.

Did you really have gunplay in mind when creating this?

((VOTED 5))

Very nice dude. Something about it I really liked. It seemed almost like egyptian music in a way but thats just me. The drums were great and so was the synth. It got very chaotic but it wasnt bad because it didnt completely overpower itself. Anyways nice song. I voted 5.

Valhalla?

We were thinking about naming our band that.

I thought the whole point of a lopp was to exclude an intro, and ite everything together at the end, so the listener knows not when the song starts and ends.

Anyways, i could care less about that.
The drum beat was nice, but could use some more hi hat, and some banging snare. There was a lot of diversity in this song, and it definatly has some replay value.

Work on your overall sound layout, and i think that you will start getting somer ecognition.
This is your first submission though, so good job!!

Check out my entry when i submit in the next couple days
