Been a long time since I've reviewed your stuff, but it's nice to see that after all these years, you're still up and running.
Anyways, review time. I really like how this song has a nice and slow beat to it throughout the song, I'm a real sucker for slow beats. Perhaps an even slower song would be nice? But, I digress.
The start of the song is good, starts calm, adds in new elements, and really keeps up a natural beat. I do think that perhaps the song itself would've benefited from some more full sounds in it, however, I can also see how that could detract from the current vibe, so it's a toss-up on that really.
I like how it builds up, though I do feel like the eventual buildup at 1:41 does miss a bit of a bang afterwards. It's very melodious, but perhaps that's why that buildup feels a bit out of place. Maybe it needed another way of growing.
I like how you played a bit with a funky tune at 3:00, it makes it more unique, something that's heavily missing in songs that appear on the radio. It helps the song end in a nice fashion, though I wouldn't have minded hearing more of those things.
It's really interesting to see how you have developed as an artist. There are certain things I feel that you have put away, which you might have been able to still use in songs like these, but hey, who am I to judge? The song is great, with only some minor improvements here or there. I'm giving a 4.5 on here, but a well deserved 5 as a rating.
PS: I feel like this review is a bit all over the place, but I hope you can see what I'm trying to say. Been too long since I've done things like these, haha.
