This is my cover of "Spirit" from the indie game FEZ. This is a solo piano arrangement, which is mostly improvisation, with added delay and lo-fi "distortion" (inspired by Disasterpeace's later music for Hyper Light Drifter). Part of the album "Tesseract" by Materia Collective. Here are my comments from the album:

Ch'iyun is a Chinese phrase that means "a sympathetic vibration of the vital spirit." I believe that is the soul of music, and improvisation is a great way to express that internal vibration. While keeping close to the original source material, "Chi'yun" is my improvised take on the original tune; not without including the lo-fi/reverb sound that truly is Disasterpeace.

Enjoy!
