Lots of very synthy sounds, like your guitar, which detract from otherwise pretty good production. I feel like those vocal chops could come down a bit and your drums come up. The hat feels a little dry. The wubbings are pretty chill and satisfying but need some more presence against the guitar and other elements while present. Drums are also just a little bit too subdued. I do laud you for not sounding like everything else I've heard in the past 5 years.

The harmonics on those vocal chops had me scratching my head for a second. Composition in this piece seems well structured but also very restrained. It could certainly be much more rhythmically binding, interesting, and varied. I hear a lot of the same. This is a popular convention of the chorus, but it doesn't really live up to the hype. Also, could use just a bit more compression, me thinks.

I like the sense of climax into :14, although the chord progression is a little generic. Really cool instrument at :14, but there are also some cliche elements to the sound design, like the mid-range bass at :44. I also wasn’t a huge fan of your piano or drum samples. Sorry - I’m going to talk about things besides the instrumentation now. I like the melodic content, but there’s a lot of minimalism in this piece, which I thought was a bit of a missed opportunity to create some richer textures. The mixing is very clean and well-balanced, and the piece is well-structured too. Unfortunately, the composition is just a little lack-luster, and the piece also could use some more originality. There are a lot of cool ideas here, but I think you just needed to spend some more time on the composition. Keep at it, Jimmypig! ;)

COMPLETELY IN LOVE with the vocal synthesized thing. how did you do it???

the rest of the song isnt bad i guess but it just doesnt live up to the promise of that amazing synth i guess? i think its mainly that the melody isn't really there for me. the dubstep stuff is cool but could be more rhythmically interesting.

nice work tho :>
