Decided to do something completely new and different from anything I have done in the past. This started out as an experiment and I'm super happy with what came of it. Might do some more like this in the future. Enjoy

The beginning is catchy, but the transition at :12 is really sudden, and this piece has a lot of different ideas melded together in a seemingly arbitrary way. I really want you to focus on keeping the listener grounded in a consistent structure. The instruments are also a bit cheesy, and sound unpolished and harsh in my headphones. My main concern is the composition, though. This piece goes through several jarring and rapid transitions in theme and melodic content in a very short amount of time. Please consolidate your ideas a little more. Effective transitions usually involve keeping certain harmonic elements in the texture on both sides of the transition. You also may want to use drum fills, filtering, dynamic changes, sweeps, or other methods to foreshadow that there’s a transitory moment coming up. When you feel like you’ve written a piece that does this effectively, PM me and I’ll leave you another review. Don’t be discouraged. You have a good sense of melody and harmony, and this piece is really cute and catchy. But the arrangement of the piece is important. Keep at it, DrFunkMonkey. :)
