This is my second song that I write with lyrics (the first one being Isle Of Golden Jewels). It has a somewhat dark atmosphere, but with a feeling of hope. The lyrics doesn't make a lot of sense, but they refer to some kind of dream. The chord progression, is a little bit odd, due to the changes, and also because of the song structure itself.
There's a part where the brass instruments cut through everything and creates a motivational sequence, and a solo violin plays a sweet melody, along with a heavily effected guitar.
This is up this date my most elaborated production, so I hope you like it :)
I used a lot of reverb and delay, and I really mean a LOT. It has about 5 separate reverb sends, and most of the tracks have their own reverb, so imagine the chaos I had when trying to mix and EQ it, lol. Anyway, the virtual instruments are part of Acoustica's Mixcraft 7, the Farfisa Organ is a VSTi called Combo Model F (free), and the orchestral sounds you hear are part of Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra sfz samples. The guitar effects are part of Guitar Rig 5, and the VST delays I used were Spaceship Delay (free) and Diffuse by Surreal Machines (paid, but it's being given away for free until June 8th, 2017 lol). The reverb was OrilRiver (free).

I like the quirky fade-in, although I don’t think it led into the smooth, soulful vibe of :05 very well. The vocals are very relaxed and have a decent amount of reverb, which is good. The silence at :44 was a little awkward. I like the texture, although I think the mix could use a bit more clarity. Being stricter with the equalizing and compression might help, as well as toning down the reverb (just not on the vocals! I think vocals almost always sound better with at least 20% reverb). The violin solo at 1:25 is beautiful, though. I also think you could use some drums to help give the piece a little more drive and energy, at least during the chorus. The mood and atmosphere are definitely my favorite elements of the piece. The fade-out ending struck me as a bit lazy, but I did enjoy the texture during the fade-out. The instruments here all blend nicely, btw, and from what I can tell the lyrics are also pretty good in this piece. Overall solid work!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, weird enough I agree 100% with everything you said. And as you say, the silence in the middle of the song seemed like a good idea when recording it, but now I don't think it doesn't help the song a lot, as it was too early and for a whole measure. Really appreciate your comment, it'll help me a lot on future works :D
