This piece is extremely in your face right from the beginning. Comes in hot. If this came on my mp3 player right off the bat, I'd be adjusting the volume right away. Also seems like you've upped the volume, not applied mastering compression, and all the other little things that need to be done like EQ shaping, etc. It is WAY too loud, to the point the track is completely distorted throughout.

Your structure is relatively alright, as are your melodic ideas and chordage, but everything is pancaked on top of something else, to the point the melodies are almost unintelligible. Also, that lead overtop for your chorus is just repeating the same line over and over. Switch it up for a fill every 4 to 8 bars! Transitions are not the only thing that make a song interesting, and a chorus doesn't have to be the same thing over and over!

Also, would have preferred this piece faded out. The abrupt ending and abrupt start are jarring!

Anyway, don't take the low score to heart. This is a decent piece. It's just marred by the mastering, all the little things piling up, like finding a worm in your apple, and suddenly you don't want to eat it anymore. At your stage, learn mixing and mastering a little better (and might I add, appropriate to EDM genres), and you'll find your sound suddenly and dramatically improves!

I like the melodies at the beginning, although they were a bit square (i.e., lacking rhythmic variety). Nice full texture at the beginning, too, although the piece does throw you right into the action a bit (needs a strong intro IMO). I like the pitch bending too, although the transition at :16 was really sudden. A lot of the instruments here are pretty generic, although the mood and atmosphere are good. 1:05 is another rough transition. I’d encourage you to use drums or sweeps more often to foreshadow transitory moments. It’d help if the drums could be a little more upfront in the mix. I think you need to spend some serious effort on equalizing and compression here to tighten things up in the production quality department. The structure of this piece is also a little bizarre - the melody seems to pop in at a bunch of arbitrary places with little warning. The melody itself is really good, and I’m encouraged by the rich texture throughout the piece. I think you have a ton of potential, actually. I have two huge goals for you. One is to work on the mixing. Please look into using an equalizer to eliminate distortion in your tracks. It’s especially useful to get rid of the bass frequencies in every instrument except for the bass and kick. Adding a compressor to the drums will also help give your piece more drive and punch. Second, the structure of this piece needs to be a little more less complicated. I want to see you use more dynamics, phrasing, and build-ups to transition into various sections of the piece, rather than just adding and subtracting instruments every 10 seconds, which can be really jarring for the listener. I like your style a lot, though. Right now, you’re really young, but in a few years (once you get a better sense of flow and mixing/mastering), things could really take off for you. Keep at it, man. ;)

really cool soundesign and some interesting melodies. The arrangement is a bit repetetive, try varying up your climax-es. Please turn off the limiter and lower the volume of your synths, this track is both too loud and overcompressed. ALWAYS make sure that your track never goes over 0db both with and without any limiter or mastering plugin. This is incredibly important for EDM, I can't stress that enough.

Overall a good and funky track.
