This project was made in April and May of 2017 in Logic Pro X. It's actually my final project for a class I took last semester on composing and arranging popular music. I didn't have to actually record the thing for my class, just write it into Sibelius, but I decided to do so in my free time after the semester was over. It's a little cheesy and definitely is full of cliches and rapid mood swings, but what about adolescent love life isn't? Hope you enjoy!

LYRICS:

Every day lures me out of its cage
To go out and face the rain.

Solitarily
You don’t even want to notice me

Boys can dream

Then I had a vision
Filling my soul with love of you

Anything can start
With two big hearts
We’ll roll like a wave
To a new day’s shore

I’m insane
She’d have to go digging in the lost
And found to find me

Solidarity

Every day I’m broken
Seeing her smile at air I don’t breathe

Boys can dream

Then I had a vision
Filling my soul with love of you

Anything can start
With two big hearts
We’ll roll like a wave
To a new day’s shore

When I look at her
I don’t even know why the
Ocean’s churning

She knows where her heart is
I always have the sea.

Not bad. I like this chill kinda deep vibe. You wrote the lyrics, i presume. Always a good skill to have. I will say, i think a little reverb or echo with the voice would've helped. You're not that bad of a singer too. But the best part is just how well everything connected together, which is what makes a song a song.

Keep it up. Me likey

Thanks a lot for the review! I agree about adding reverb to the vocals - I need to get better at mixing them. And I did write the lyrics, yes. :) Thanks again!

I really like it, but i thought the vocal was slightly too dry, although it keeps a certain type of vibe.

Thanks a lot for the review! I didn't have much prior experience mixing vocals, so I really appreciate the advice. ;)

I like the mood! It's an interesting track, with an interesting melody!
I think your singing has improved a bit since "Terrified" :D
Your deep notes at "You don't even", and "I don't even" were a cool tought, and I didn't expect it!
The lyrics are fun to read/hear as well xD
Nice job!

TaintedLogic responds:

Aww...thanks so much, Ale! I agree that my singing has improved, but I still think my voice fits a group more than a solo. The deep notes you mentioned were a bit of a risk because I think they can seem really jarring, but I'm glad you liked them! Thanks for all the positivity. ^^
