Electronic - Synthwave

Author Comments

So, I've been experimenting with FM synthesis lately.
The bell sound you hear at the beginning is made with four operators in Zero. It sounded very organic once I added subtle delay and washed it in reverb.
That sound itself wasn't much and I suck at making calm music so I decided to turn it into a downtempo house-like piece. Still had a sentimental vibe nonetheless, so I gave it this name.
Rate honestly, please. I don't want you padding my feelings, I want you to critique so I can improve.

EDIT: Changed to Synthwave because of the fact that 4-OP FM synthesis was common to the 80s. Bit of a stretch but it works.

Really interesting stuff here. Sounds great! Like some of the lofi/chiptune noise type hihats.

Hey, that's pretty good! Maybe it's a bit too much reverb. I wish you had a synth that was more "in your face".

I wouldn't class this as house music, but this would fit a game level so well. Sounds amazing. Well done.
