Oh boy, a new song! This one's been rattling around in my brain for a while, but I figured I'd worked on inner voices enough by now, so I did my usual unsuccessful volume battle and called it a day (or, you know, month).
In what was really an exercise in brass writing, I envisioned a stray cat for the subject of this piece. But not just any stray cat. This is the most confident stray cat in the world. This cat knows what he's doing. He knows where he's going. Nobody better get in the way of this cat today.
So as you follow this fabulous feline in and out of a café, an aquarium, and an evening concert, I hope you have as much fun as I did as I wrote this!
